Partnership with Sinclair Community College Provides Tuition Assistance for Nursing Students
KETTERING, Ohio, September 13, 2017 – Kettering College, Sinclair College, and Kettering Health Network have have partnered together to provide a high-quality, low-cost BSN completion program in the Dayton community. This articulation agreement supports Associated-degreed nurses to complete their Bachelor’s degree at Kettering College with the intent to graduate debt-free.
Students who complete an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing at Sinclair College and are hired by Kettering Health Network will be qualified to apply to Kettering College Bachelor of Science Nursing Completion degree with significant tuition assistance and financial discounts available to them. These discounts include a 30% discount scholarship from Kettering College for any Kettering Health Network employee and up to $7000 per year tuition assistance from Kettering Health Network.
Rena Shuchat, Dean of Health Sciences at Sinclair College expressed that this agreement “will give Sinclair nursing graduates the opportunity to receive an exceptional education from Kettering College, while being employed by the reputable Kettering Heatlh Network and receiving tuition reimbursement. This is truly a win-win-win that I am very proud of.”
To receive this financial assistance, any nurse must be hired in a part-time or full-time benefit eligible role. Students must apply to Kettering College and meet all requirements for tuition assistance from Kettering Health Network, which includes an unencumbered RN license.
