Kettering College Selected From Among Thousands as a Best Value School Award Recipient

Kettering College has been selected out of nearly 8,000 postsecondary schools as the recipient of a Best Value School award. The award is issued by University Research & Review (urandr.org/about-us), a company dedicated to improving the process of how a student selects a postsecondary school.

Kettering College President Nate Brandstater states, “We are thrilled that University Research and Review in this nationwide search selected Kettering College as a Best Value school. The thoroughness and the rigor of the selection process is a wonderful reflection of the commitment of our faculty and staff to deliver outstanding value to our students every day."

The committee that reviewed more than 100 nominees out of the thousands of eligible schools is made up of former university presidents, CEO’s, provosts and professors. Schools cannot pay to receive the award; it has to be earned through the nomination and committee evaluation process. Kettering College was chosen by the committee because it passed rigorous standards including a combination of cost, accreditation, variety and quality of school programs, and student satisfaction with the institution.

Kettering College received the award on behalf of the university today from Senior Relationship Manager Carolyn Carter. Carolyn stated, “It is our distinguished pleasure to present the award to Kettering College. We hope current students and alumni take pride in the honor, and anyone searching for a quality, reasonably priced college education strongly considers Kettering.”

“Our committee prides itself on combining our extensive experience, knowledge of postsecondary education and insight into what provides students with good value when selecting a Best Value award recipient,” says Carolyn.

Kettering College will retain the Best Value School designation for one year. Award recipients must re-qualify every year.
