Does the certificate and bachelor students receive the same information for the modality?
Yes.

Does your program meet the ARRT structured education requirement for certification and registration?
Yes, all modalities have been approved.

What is your first time ARRT registry pass rate?
We have an above average ARRT first time pass rate.

What are the pre-reqs for the modalities?
CT and MRI require cross-sectional anatomy. This must meet content if transferred in.

Do I need to have an Associate’s degree to complete the certificate?
Yes. You need a degree from an accredited radiology program to enter the certificate program.

I am a registered nuclear medicine technologist. What modalities can I take?
MRI. The other three modalities require a radiography degree to operate the machinery.

Do you cover a review book?
Each modality covers a registry review book.

Where can I do my clinical rotations?
We find a convenient clinical rotation for you. And it’s okay if you are outside the Kettering College area, we will work on obtaining an affiliation agreement with a clinical site of your choice. Obtaining a new affiliation agreement may take one month to one year.

Are the didactic and clinical offered in the same semester?
Yes. Didactic and clinical are required in the same semester.

How often do I go to clinical?
Minimum of three days a week.

What if I am unable to obtain the 125 ARRT exams in one semester?
We offer a variable clinical rotation.

How long is each modality?
CT: 10 weeks – fall semesters
MRI: 1.5 semesters – fall/winter semesters
VIT: 16 weeks – fall semesters
CIT: 16 weeks – winter semesters -
How long do hospital contracts take?
On average they take one month to one year due to both hospitals of choice and school legal teams having to review contract.

Can I take bachelor courses while doing a modality?
Yes. We do however recommend taking MRI by itself since it is a new physics.

Are the modalities offered online?
Yes, all modalities are offered online.

Are the modalities offered on campus?
All online.
CT Summer – 10 weeks

Do I have to find my own clinical site?
No. We have multiple clinical sites that host our students. The sites are rotating based on their need and availability.

Is this a post primary program or primary?
The Advanced Imaging program is a post primary program.

Is cross-sectional anatomy offered online?
Yes. We offer cross-sectional anatomy online in the summer for 10 week. This is subject to minimum student enrollment.
