Radiologic Sciences and Imaging
Medical Imaging is a technologically advanced and patient care oriented field. Students who graduate from one of the Radiologic Sciences and Imaging programs become radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, or advanced imaging technologists. They use sophisticated equipment to image body structures and aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of disease. The two-year degrees in radiologic technology or nuclear medicine, and the bachelor completion program are competitive, reputable, and accredited by expert accreditation entities.

Radiologic Technology
This associate degree prepares students to perform radiographic procedures, administer basic levels of patient care, and qualify for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry examination.

Nuclear Medicine Technology
This associate degree prepares students for matriculation into The University of Findlay Nuclear Medicine Institute, where they learn to perform nuclear medicine procedures, administer basic patient care, and qualify for the ARRT registry examination in nuclear medicine technology or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) examination.

Advanced Imaging Technology
Students entering Kettering College as graduates of an associate degree in radiologic technology credentialed by the ARRT as an RT(R) may continue their education with certificate programs in CT, MRI, VIT, or CIT. The CT, VIT, and CIT programs can be completed in one semester (16 weeks). The MRI program can be completed in one and a half semesters. Those students with nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or diagnostic medical sonography may continue their education with a certificate in MRI.
