Taryn Talbott received her Associate's and Bachelor’s degrees from Kettering College. Working over 20 years at a local trauma center, she started teaching at Kettering College in 2005. She has a Master’s degree in education with a focus on Curriculum and Development and a Doctorate of Education in Health Professions. These degrees allow her to develop curricula that align education with the healthcare sector. As an instructional designer, she has a passion to help educators develop a curriculum that allows students to adapt their knowledge skills learned in the classroom to the clinical site easier. She is always looking for creative, innovative methods to deliver course design. Taryn has a passion for education whether it is for her fellow educators or students. She applies a very customer-centric approach to everything she does and leads with warmth and enthusiasm. Her experience over the years as a Kettering College student, then as a faculty member has given her a unique insight into being an advocate for students. Taryn can say with great humility how precious her time at Kettering College has been, seeing the beautiful sides to the hearts of those working here.
