In his role as Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Bennie serves as the Chief Academic Officer for the college, including the Arts & Sciences, Health Professions, and Graduate Studies divisions. He leads the college’s institutional effectiveness efforts and is the Accreditation Liaison Officer for the college to the regional institutional accreditor, the Higher Learning Commission. His prior experience includes program development and institution-level accreditation. His areas of research interest are evidence-based education, including leadership, interprofessional education, and simulation.
