Jane Nesbit, MA has been a math educator for over 25 years. She earned her Master's degree from The Ohio State University in Mathematics Education and taught at Washington Adventist University for 7 years before joining us here at Kettering College in 2004. She became a certified online instructor in 2012 and has been teaching statistics online as well as in person and hybrid sections of Fundamentals of Mathematics, Elementary Statistics, and College Algebra and Trigonometry. She's been an Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics Reader (graders) with high school and college professors from all over the world for 12 years. She has taught adjunct classes at various other colleges and universities and helped many people analyze the statistics for their research projects and/or dissertation. She's reviewed and edited two mathematics textbooks. She enjoys trying to make statistics applicable and understandable to healthcare professionals and others.
