Mowa did his postdoctoral program at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in Rootstown, Ohio, USA, and was thereafter appointed as Assistant Professor at Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina and rose to full Professorship at the same university before coming to Kettering College.
