Beverley McLean MSN, RN, received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Gordon College in 1985. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University in 1993 and a master’s degree in nursing (emphasis in nursing education) from Walden University in 2010. She has practiced in a variety of health care settings including home care, medical-surgical and step-down units.McLean has been a nursing faculty at Kettering College since 2006, teaching Fundamentals of Nursing, Older Adult, and medical/ surgical. She is currently the RN coordinator for the inter-professional education simulation center. Her professional interest is developing and implementing of simulation experiences to prepare students for the challenges presented in all aspects of the nursing field.
