Kettering College Creates New Facebook Page
Kettering College has officially launched a new Facebook page designed to provide complete news, information, photos, videos and more to current and former students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the College.
The new page, titled “Kettering College,” is open and public, and can be accessed at www.facebook.com/KetteringCollege. Facebook account users can receive instant communication updates about Kettering College by clicking the “Like” button at the top of the page.
The previous page, titled “Kettering College of Medical Arts,” will be shut down this fall. Kettering started its new page because Facebook policies prohibit changing the name of a page, and the school has officially dropped “of Medical Arts” from its title.
The move also precedes the launch of a new website – www.kc.lionandpanda.com — that will occur on Monday, Aug. 29. Stay tuned for more information on the new site.
Followers also can connect with Kettering College on Twitter as well at www.twitter.com/KettCollege.
Kettering College’s new Facebook page is staffed primarily by public relations officer Mindy Claggett, with assistance from director of alumni and career services Amy Moretta.
