Rising Star’s Tour Making a Stop at Kettering College
Kettering, Ohio (Sept. 23) – Christian performing artist Meredith Andrews will make a stop atKettering College of Medical Arts for a free concert on Friday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will take place at Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 3939 Stonebridge Rd. According to the artist’s website, Andrews was listed in Billboard magazine’s yearly “Faces to Watch” feature as Christian music’s most promising new artist. The Kettering show is Andrews’ fifth stop on a nationwide tour of 23 dates to promote her debut album entitled “The Invitation.” The tour will launch on Friday, Sept. 26, in Clermont, Fla. Andrews began leading worship as a teen at her home church in Wilson, N.C. She went from there to become a worship leader at Liberty University, then was hired as worship leader at Harvest Bible Chapel, a 12,000-member church in Chicago. While at Liberty, Andrews majored in family and child development, and in keeping with her desire to help underprivileged children, she established Meredith Andrews Ministries to aid orphans and children in need.
